It is in this desert, as we wander together as nomads, that God is to be found. For it is here that we are nourished by our hunger.

I can't watch this video, it says it's not available to watch in my country! LOL! I've seen it blogged about at a few places.
I really can't be bothered with Twitter. Seems to me it works for people who are always on the computer. I really don't give a monkeys as to what type of coffee people are drinking or if they've just brushed their teeth. There are some things we really don't need to know about! I wouldn't have the time for it anyway.
Christine Sine wrote an interesting post about Twitter a few weeks ago http://godspace.wordpress.com/2009/03/28/are-we-twittering-our-lives-away/
In all the twitter mania I signed up and did one tweet and then said, "why?"
This video is to explain twitter, but I think it is almost as funny. I don't think these people have ever mowed a lawn.

Couldn't the same thing be said about blogs? (wink)
thanks Lyn and Chad. Lyn I'm sorry it's not available to you. That's strange!
could be Jamie. Maybe I'm just feeling my middle aged-ness. With blogging (in which i try to llimit my frivolous self-only-interested posts)and now facebook, I guess my capacity for streaming updates has become overloaded.
Thing is, since I'm not on twitter, the only thing that really bothers me is when folks (whose blogs I used to enjoy) now have their twitter updates streaming to the blog as well. Dumb thing to be bothered by, huh.
Actually, I am not a fan of posting Twitter stream on main post of blog. It disappoints me every time I come across one.
Peace,
Jamie
While I will never say "never", Twitter holds no appeal for me.....at this time. Between my Blackberry and Facebook, which I can access in my Blackberry, I do not need another connection......
Thanks for the video....a good laugh.
