This is a very difficult insight for most followers of Jesus to grasp, and even more difficult to avoid being that ass.

I'm perfectly willing to admit I'm an ass...but I hope to be less of one on an ongoing basis. At least I don't preach to unbelievers anymore.
But see, there is a huge difference between being an ass and KNOWing it (and trying not to be), and being an ass but refusing to admit it.
