ha! It seems from that website that we had all but one of the potential carrot troubles going on at the same time! I don't think we'll do that again. We're going to give the squash and beans more room next summer!

nope. our neighbor has found a number of pottery pieces around, but nothing sinister.
if it is, and this is the worst that happens, I can live with that :-)

They look like characters in some bizarre animation ... especially all together in that last pic.
maybe i should have tied them up with strings and video taped them dancing before we threw them out to the deer!
