Richard Powers writes an essay for the New York Times- How to Speak a Book.
This is a fascinating examination of the spoken word versus the written word- from the perspective of the speaker/writer. This makes we wonder if my extraordinary frustrations with writing and not communicating what I hope with my words might be lessened by voice recognition software. Or would it simply highlight that I don't communicate well in any venue or genre... The essay is worth a read if you like to write-er-communicate.
